ZOOM XB LT (EN B 3-Liner)
3-liner | Cells: 49 | Aspect Ratio: 5.15 | EN B
The ZOOM XB LT is an entry-level intermediate lightweight wing engineered for pilots taking on their first cross-country missions or mountain hike and fly adventures. Designed in Austria by Alex Höllwarth, this lightweight paragliding glider delivers exceptional passive safety, direct canopy feedback, and precise handling. Available at Fly2Base, the ZOOM XB LT balances a durable material mix with a compact pack size starting at just 2.85 kg.
Why is the ZOOM XB LT ideal for hike and fly and XC progression?
The ZOOM XB LT provides effortless launch characteristics and rapid canopy inflation in technical alpine environments. Its pitch-stable profile prevents overshooting, allowing smooth take-offs even in challenging launch conditions. In flight, the wing features high roll stability and intuitive brake geometry, making it simple to centre thermal cores efficiently.
Featuring 49 cells, triple 3D shaping, and a shark nose profile, the canopy maintains high internal pressure and collapse resistance across its entire speed range. The integrated B-C riser control system allows pilots to actively manage pitch on glide without distorting the airfoil profile.
Engineered with Austrian Design Precision
The internal structure of the ZOOM XB LT utilises trailing edge mini-ribs with internal stitching to reduce parasitic drag and maintain a clean aerodynamic profile. Crafted with a hybrid material combination of Dominico 10D cloth on the sail surfaces and Porcher Skytex 27 hard on internal ribs, the wing delivers low weight without compromising long-term canopy durability.
