TARGET
The ALMA is a lightweight, stable, and versatile kite designed for hydrofoiling and snowkiting. It features a new technological design, unlike anything seen on a kite before. Classed as a monofoil-hybrid, the front half consists of inflated closed cells, while the back is a single surface, and five inflatable spars provide structure and rigidity. Although very light, the ALMA is constructed from standard-weight, durable fabrics. It merges the best attributes of both foil and tube kites. It is extremely easy to re-launch independently, remains airborne in gentle breezes, and is straightforward to control and forgiving of positioning errors. Power generation is progressive, enabling fast and manageable loops. It excels at hydrofoiling, performs excellently on a twin-tip, and is ideal for technical ascents on snow. The ALMA is supplied without a bar, but one can be ordered from the shop.
