First impressions after my first XC flight with the Scala 2. Excellent feeling on the Bs. So subtle and precise, what a pleasure to be able to make small corrections so easily! I flew headwind (7-10 knots) with a 30 % bar. Amazing compared to Maestro 2. Finally, I can go places. I feel the profile to be solid and trustworthy (yet to be confirmed in turbulent air after a few flights). Now the work to do is on my side to let it fly freely. Thomas Roger
I flew the PHI Scala 2 this morning for 50 min, then went to land and to work as planned. Some strong and very strong thermals at 9 30am, read above 6m/s in one. So the wing is excellent. Love the way it handles, also in strong air, great on the B's and fast on the full bar (20 km/h over?). Good launching capabilities. Norbert Krause
