Designed to be used for steerable reserve connected to the main carabiners to bring the height of the steering handles higher.

We highly recommended them for the above reason and also to protect the main reserve bridles in cases where you regularly connect and disconnect your reserve. If these bridles get damaged they are easy to replace. If the main reserve bridle is damaged replacement is more complicated.
