Sky Merlin is an excellent two-liner paraglider for ambitious XC and upcoming competition pilots who are moving up from the EN B class.

Sky Merlin offers an unprecedented ratio of Performance and Passive Safety

I had a good go at using B3 big ears over Manilla. It was a little more pressure than usual big ears, but when pulling from up nice and high, it wasn't much. Certainly pops back out with authority. Also had a great decent rate, 5m/s down. Conditions were a little rough with decent thermals and strong wind, was still pretty comfortable, certainly had good pitch stability and doesn't bounce around too much as the EN C two-liner I tested earlier. The risers are light and don't require much effort to steer and control pitch on them but have enough pressure it's not strange or drastically different to what I'm used to. Gosh, it has some speed on the bar, can definitely feel the difference between it and the other low C glider. Harry Davies

The change in the rules and the permission to use "folding lines" to simulate collapses in the lower category motivated us to create an extraordinary cross-country wing with the lowest possible air drag and moderate aspect ratio in the category. Two-liner design has been proven and worked very well in more than a decade in use, and a significant number of pilots who have tried the concept don't want to go back. The feeling of direct control of airspeed/pitch while piloting with the rear row is very effective for XC flying and greatly improves active piloting. According to the EN-C standard, paragliders are designed for self-regeneration without the need for pilot intervention and after thorough testing in all possible conditions, we can confidently say that the Merlin fits this definition. Designer Stanislav Klikar

I had a great experience flying the Merlin glider. It is one of my favorite gliders and I wish to fly it more often. The takeoff was effortless, and it didn't feel like I was flying on two-liners. The glider inflated perfectly, and the brake pressure gave me better feedback to find thermals. The glide is competitive with D gliders, and the turns are very understandable, making it feel like a compact glider. I didn't need to fly for too long to get used to this glider since it is very friendly and easy to get accustomed to. I highly recommend the Merlin glider to pilots who want to start their two-liner journey. Test pilot Artoosh Ghafourian

This innovative two-line paraglider redefines active control. Experience unparalleled glide performance while maneuvering with rear risers, all without compromising stability or canopy recovery. Join us and discover MERLIN!

For pilots who prioritize mastering flight tactics over collapse concerns, MERLIN is the ultimate choice. This two-line wing boasts exceptional resistance and stability in turbulent air, combined with high passive safety and intuitive handling for an unmatched flying experience.

MERLIN is the ideal companion for ambitious sports pilots, excelling in cross-country potential. Its construction enables tight, flat turns in the narrowest thermals, maximizing performance. Minimizing line length (191 meters for size M) was a key focus during development, optimizing the wing's glide ratio. Thanks to its passive safety features, MERLIN is also a great option for pilots transitioning from a high B category.

Designed for advanced pilots with a minimum of 50 hours of annual flight time, MERLIN caters to those seeking a dynamic yet safe flying adventure. Two-line constructions have consistently demonstrated exceptional performance over the past decade, and many pilots who've experienced this concept are reluctant to return to conventional designs. Prepare to be impressed - once you try MERLIN, you might just be hooked!

Why Pilots Love MERLIN

  • Intuitive control and exceptional agility
  • Canopy delivers clear and responsive feedback
  • Excels in headwind penetration and thermal climbing
  • Highly efficient for rapid climb in thermals
  • Balanced lateral and spanwise stability even at full speed bar
  • Delivers top-tier performance with a high level of safety

Main Features

  • AFI (Anti-Flutter Intake): Leading edge reinforcements prevent cell vibrations at higher speeds.
  • MAD (Minimalized Aerodynamic Drag): Utilizing a clever construction, we significantly reduced line length and overall air resistance. For size M (88-104 kg), total line length is just 191 meters.
  • SRC (Single Rod Construction): A single nylon rod reinforces the leading edge, ensuring profile stability.
  • Comfort-focused B Risers: The handle on the B riser is designed for maximum comfort during long speed bar transitions. Its shape minimizes the risk of cord entanglement in case of a collapse.
  • Durable and Lightweight Materials: Built with high-quality, lightweight materials for optimal performance.
  • BST (B-Stall Tips): The easiest and most direct way to increase descent is by stalling the tip by pulling the sheathed BU3 main line.
