Setting Up Chest Strap For Your Paragliding Harness

The chest strap for your paragliding harness needs to be set up correctly before flying your paraglider. The chest strap of your paragliding harness shall be set between 42cm - 48 cm. We strongly recommend to not fly with a chest strap width being less than 42cm between the carabiner on your paragliding harness. Smaller sizes of paragliders are being certified with the chest strap width at around 42 cm. Medium sizes of paragliders are certified with the chest strap width of 44cm - 46 cm. Large sizes of paragliders are being certified with the chest strap width at around 46cm - 48cm. The chest strap distance is measured between the tops of the carabiner looks on your harness.
