What is Paragliding?
Posted by Martin Havel on
Paragliding is an adventure sport in which a person flies through the air with a small, lightweight paraglider attached to their back. The paraglider consists of a fabric canopy and lines that inflate in the air and provide lift, allowing the person to float and glide through the air. Paragliding typically takes place from a high launch point, such as a hill or mountain, and the pilot glides to a landing spot on the ground. The flight can last anywhere from a few minutes to several hours, depending on wind conditions and the skill of the pilot.
